Parkour

Last Saturday walking down the Chapultepec forest, I encountered a group of young people that jumped and flew right in front of me. I have seen Parkour in a TV show but being able to see it in person is inspiring. I would have loved to have a little bit of more time to do a short film on this, but my duties to 31K Portraits for Peace limited my time. It would be done later that I come visit my country's capital that I would do it freely.

Making of American Airlines @DFW

One of the greatest satisfactions that one could have is being able to collaborate with a professional group of people that are focused on their job and that love what they do. I had the opportunity to work with AC&M in this recent production at the DFW Airport. I must admit that I felt like a 7-year old playing with airplanes and clouds…thinking of what it would be like to be old.

Something curious that happened (as it commonly does in what I collaborate) is that the night before, it rained a lot. The day started with a closed sky and black clouds which complicated the production since we needed a few of the shots with clear blue skies. However, as if it were magic, in a few minutes before doing the shots, a strong wind took my clouds away leaving me with the sky I was looking for.

I want to thank all of the personnel working at AA which were incredible to us. Thanks to Dan Garza for allowing me to see up close how the world of aviation works in one of the biggest and most impressive airports in the world. Thanks to Pacino and Sam from AC&M for trusting my work; to Lorena and Sandra for making it simple to work with and a very special thanks to Daniela, the best photography producer in the world.
