No longer than two months ago when I was driving back from Houston, I stopped at a McDonald´s. I do not remember the exact town, it was someplace between Houston and Austin, TX. When I was there,eating my burger, I saw a big man sitting across from me to eat a burger too. I immediately imagined a postcard but was unable to take a photo. The only camera I had with me was my iPhone and as soon as I turned it on he stood up from the table and away from me. I kept eating and then he sat at the same table...now to eat an ice cream cone. I loved it even more. I had the ability to capture the moment, I had the moment and I captured it.
Hace no más de dos meses cuando regresaba de la ciudad de Houston, llegué junto con Daniela a comer a un McDonalds, no recuerdo la verdad el sitio exacto, lo único que se es queda entre Houston y Austin, TX. Cuando estábamos justo por terminar un señor de estructura grande se sentó justo a nuestro lado a comerse una hamburguesa, la estampa me pareció bastante peculiar y no pude evitar querer capturar el momento. La única cámara que llevaba conmigo en ese justo momento era mi iPhone, para cuando lo prendí y pude abrir la aplicación para tomar la fotografía el señor se levantó de su mesa, pensé que había perdido aquél momento cuando justo regresó y se volvió a sentar en la misma mesa a degustar un cono de nieve, no fué la hamburguesa, fué un cono, juro que me emocioné como si nunca hubiera tomado una fotografía en mi vida, pues sabía que tendría ese momento, y lo tuve.
Sometimes the perfect photograph is not the one shot with your most fanciest or expensier equipment. Technique and equipment don’t matter. Moments like these happen and you should be prepared for them.
A veces la fotografía perfecta no viene acompañada con el equipo mas caro o mas elegante, pero eso no importa pues los momentos no conocen de técnicas o equipo, solo llegan y hay que estar preparados para ellos.
